Welcome to St Paul's!
I do hope you find the website useful and can find out more about us and any enquiry you may have.
I started at St Paul's in 2012 and very quickly felt at home amongst the lovely people in the village here in Tongham and in the very special church family at St Paul's. I may be biased, but there is a unique welcome and community here, which is open to all visitors and regular members alike. Do come along and experience it for yourself!
As a church we try to be honest and open about life and faith. We encourage questions and discussion and I am very happy to meet with anyone to chat through any issues they may have.
We know there are some big questions around the Christian faith that often people struggle with and we try to be honest about things we have learnt about the Christian faith, our personal experiences and also the things we are still trying to understand ourselves and the times we have doubts too.
Learning more together is reassuring, helpful, and challenging at times! Do look out for our sermon series, to see what we are discussing this term, and for courses we run from time to time. Come and join in with the journey of faith, whatever your starting point may be.
We also know that life isn't always easy and we try to support people with prayer, friendship and practical support where we can; both for those in the church and those in the village of Tongham.
In all we do we want to show God's love for everyone and to grow in our faith and understanding so that we may have integrity in the things we do and say and are able to share our faith and love with others.
